I love poems where you have to think about the meaning and they use alot of.. gosh what do you call them.. like imagry and all that good stuff. I also like dark poems. So I like form and mood and meaning I spose. All poetry is good in their own way.

Yeah, it really depends on my own mood too. what good is a poem about birds and singing and happiness and love when you are miserable and sad and want to wallow in your own misery?

True that. I like very dark and depressing poems too even if I'm happy. It just depends. I like poems with a message too. And I love long narrative poems like "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe and I love E.E. Cummings poems with the weird punctuation all over. I know liturature ;D.

Oh no offense taken! Understanding his poetry writing is pretty difficult. I mean, it takes me forever to understand it, but then when I do, I am pleasently surprised! Which poets do you like?

Right In Two by Tool
Angels on the sideline, Puzzled and amused. Why did Father give these humans free will? Now they’re all confused.
Don’t these talking monkeys know that Eden has enough to go around? Plenty in this holy garden, silly old monkeys, Where there’s one, you're bound to divide it, Right in two.
Angels on the sideline, Baffled and confused.
Father blessed them all with reason. And this is what they choose. Monkey, killing monkey, killing monkey. Over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs, They forge a blade, And where there's one they're bound to divide it, Right in two. Right in two.
Monkey, killing monkey, killing monkey. Over pieces of the ground. Silly monkeys give them thumbs, They make a club. And beat their brother down. How they survive so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a (not dismal) creature who would Squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here
Cut it divide it all right in two. Cut it divide it all right in two. Cut it divide it all right in two. Cut it divide it all right in two.
Fight, over the clouds, over the earth, over sky. Fight, over life, over blood, over air and light. Over love, over sun, over another. Fight, till they die (not all the time) Over what? Over Lies and (greed).
Angels on the sideline again. Been so long with patience and reason. Angels on the sideline again. Wondering when this tug of war will end.
Cut it divide it all right in two. Cut it divide it all right in two. Cut it divide it all right in two. Right in two. Right in two.

Only you Warren To answer Rae- Poe, Frost, Shel Silverstein- some of the transcedentalists are ok, Emily thingyinson(However spelled) I think is over rated- no offense to anyone who likes her stuff. I only like some of her poems. And I like other poets, but well I know the poem, not who wrote it (by memory that is) I will have to go look at my bookshelf when I get home.

Song
The battle rages
Now the fight has come, more and more the blood must spill, washing away the innocense of the land, i must stand against my ground,
I see you standing off the feild, crying at your masterpeice, you couldnt help but release,
for your troubles i endore, the burdens of the battle's score, will you die for your sins, will you cry for your friends,
The flames of the battle grow, in side of your soul, you seek and wonder where to go, you look to me, I DONT KNOW,
The flames of the battle grow, in side of your soul, you seek and wonder where to go, you look to me, I DONT KNOW,
I CHOSE YOUR SIDE, I SUFFER YOUR FATE, I NOW DROWN IN YOUR POOL OF HATE, WAKE UP, DEPRESSION IN YOUR SOUL CONSUMES,
The flames of the battle grow, in side of your soul, you seek and wonder where to go, you look to me, I DONT KNOW,
The battle rages on, i struggle to the end, If only help you'd lend,
stop the fighting, your insanity holds the key to eternal peace, in a land of misery that your masterpeice created, upon its release
